Aug. 2nd, 2008 11:00 pmIt's nice to have the ground beneath one's feet again. It would be extremely uncomfortable to wear one of those suits in this weather! Many of the people here had trouble adjusting to the weightlessness, I think-that's probably why the medical team has had so much work lately.
I apologize if I've been anti-social. Perhaps we could arrange some sort of get-together. It's too warm for the hot springs, but what about some sort of dinner party? I could make...well...I'm sure I could make something.

//06 Discoveries
Jun. 30th, 2008 09:54 amOur journey to explore the islands was very interesting. I got to meet a number of new faces, and it was pleasant to be outdoors when not on the deck of a boat. Nova and Toushi, I got some things from you on the beach. They're probably silly, but well...they reminded me of you. You don't have to keep them.
The strangest thing happened when we ventured deeper into the island itself, though. Reverie and I somehow got separated from the rest of the group. This was fine, as he's quite well-mannered, but a sparkle in a tree hollow caught my eye and a flock of tropical birds attacked us! I was lucky to have Reverie around, and it was lucky I could heal his injuries afterward, though I'm sure he would have recovered on his own. I don't know why the birds would have wanted the crystal I found in the tree. Perhaps they're the type that hoard shiny things. Some birds do that, don't they?
Though...later, I was holding the crystal and something interesting happened. I think it was a memory. I think I was right about knowing Toushi.

She felt herself being stabbed/gouged, tasted the blood in her mouth (yay, internal bleeding) and heard Ichigo screaming her name. Please note, however, that while she recognized Toushi's voice and knew he was saying her name, she can't quite remember what her name sounded like.]

As I understand it, when things are normal at the tree, people have various jobs to earn their keep. There's an employment board, I know, but does anyone have any recommendations or comments on finding a job that might not have been covered? I'd appreciate any advice.
