Earlier this afternoon, there was an incident in the Scavengers' Yard. Toushi, Koi and I—

Koi is dead.

[ooc: Sorry, guys, some things came up and I wasn't able to post this until now, so let's backdate it a few hours so it's not in the dead of night. Relevant parties may assume they've been informed of Koi's death in private; check with me, Luce, or KK if you have questions.]

Justice is back. He's staying with Toushi and me for now.

Trust, would you mind if I stopped by to collect his journal?

For those who were worried, I've been released from the Wellspring clinic as a patient, though of course you can still find me there when I'm on duty. That should be tomorrow, since I'm still a little woozy. Those medications were quite potent.

I really appreciate those of you who helped following my double's despicable attacks—Crow, Lezard and Reed especially—but I feel as though I owe everyone an apology all the same. Even if she wasn't me...well. I'm sorry.

Toushi--I can't get back into our place so I'm in the Wilderness for now. In the back of the Macy store.

You should probably stop by when you can. Kiba too.

As it's been more than 48 hours since the fire ended, I want to give everyone an update on the situation at ~~Medical Isl~~ Wellspring Island. We've continued treating patients outside of the clinic's walls non-stop thanks to all of you who generously volunteered your time and supplies. We're in decent shape for the moment, but every bit helps; Justice remains in charge of administrative affairs, but there are others on-site who are helping to organize matters if you need to speak with someone.

Many of the patients remaining at Wellspring have stabilized, but they aren't all out of danger yet. Those of you who assisted with the emergency triage only are free to return to your normal duties if they take priority, but Handmaiden and Truth, I'd appreciate it if you could continue to fit in time here along with your other responsibilities until need has lessened. ~~Without Rabbit--~~

On a personal note, I'd like to thank whoever brought me to the break area with a blanket. I didn't even mean to fall asleep, and I'm not in the habit of sleepwalking, so someone must've--just, thank you.

To anyone still able to read their journals, this is Kazahana. Medical Island was damaged by the firestorm, but the clinic is still standing, we have supplies remaining, and there are [brief pause] surviving medics. We're treating everyone here, but there are undoubtedly other victims who need our help.

I'm asking anyone with any kind of medical skill or training to get here as fast as possible. We need all the help we can get. Those of you without training who are well enough to move, please help bring the injured here--with as few resources as we have now, we have to make this a central point of treatment.

I don't know where Cross and Lezard are, so for the moment, I'm taking charge of Medical. If you're coming here to volunteer your help, come to me right away. For the truly critically injured, also bring them to me immediately so I can try to heal them enough to stabilize, and Will after. From there on we'll just have to see.

This is secondary in importance, but it still needs to be done. If you can write, please check in here, letting us know you're still alive...and if you've witnessed deaths, we need to know that, too, so people know who to look for.

Since Stoneface, Justice and Raise seem to have things well in hand after yesterday's tragedy, I'm going to go take care of the less-immedate danger.

I'm going to find the spider that attacked them, and kill it.

Hakuteiken disappeared from the sphere today.

I didn't see it happen, but I've always been able to sense that he was here, even when he got lost...but now I can't.

I know not many of you were close to him, but I thought people should know.

If anyone needs to find me this week, I'll still be working some shifts at Medical Island, but the official schedule is no longer accurate, as several kind individuals have taken them off my hands. I'll still be keeping a close eye on my journal in case there's an emergency.

If you need to find me in a hurry, I'll most likely be at the Hatchery. I hope I won't be there long.

Hakuteiken, I need so speak with you as soon as possible. Sooner.
