It's come to my attention that with the recent disorganization in Edensphere, all the new arrivals may have extra trouble acclimating. Aside from learning where everything is, I think it's important to know who people are. Certainly people are capable of meeting new people on their own, but there are other considerations--for instance, if you find yourself in need of a guard but you don't know who they are, that's a problem.
Since we sometimes have downtime here at Wellspring, I decided to make a visual guide to certain people and groups in the sphere. I decided to start with the medical clinic since most people will be sick or injured at some point, and it's good to foster bonds between doctors and patients. But I hope to add more later.
( Non-IC cut to save your flists )
I hope this is helpful and lets you recognize your friendly sphere medics. And the rest of them, too.
[ooc: Feel free to pretend the NPC medics are here, too, but PC bunnies take enough time as it is.]

To anyone still able to read their journals, this is Kazahana. Medical Island was damaged by the firestorm, but the clinic is still standing, we have supplies remaining, and there are [brief pause] surviving medics. We're treating everyone here, but there are undoubtedly other victims who need our help.
I'm asking anyone with any kind of medical skill or training to get here as fast as possible. We need all the help we can get. Those of you without training who are well enough to move, please help bring the injured here--with as few resources as we have now, we have to make this a central point of treatment.
I don't know where Cross and Lezard are, so for the moment, I'm taking charge of Medical. If you're coming here to volunteer your help, come to me right away. For the truly critically injured, also bring them to me immediately so I can try to heal them enough to stabilize, and Will after. From there on we'll just have to see.
This is secondary in importance, but it still needs to be done. If you can write, please check in here, letting us know you're still alive...and if you've witnessed deaths, we need to know that, too, so people know who to look for.
Thank you for all your help.
[ooc: a log for medical triage will go up a little later]

I'm going to take a couple of days off from Medical. Let me know if there's a problem with that.

Also let's pretend this went up earlier today.]

If anyone needs to find me this week, I'll still be working some shifts at Medical Island, but the official schedule is no longer accurate, as several kind individuals have taken them off my hands. I'll still be keeping a close eye on my journal in case there's an emergency.
If you need to find me in a hurry, I'll most likely be at the Hatchery. I hope I won't be there long.

As Cross has said, the temporary clinic is now operational in the Wilderness. Any Medical staff who are still evacuating, please make your way here as soon as you can; we need to meet to re-plan shifts due to the emergency. No one should be hurt by the ants as long as people don't act like fools, but that's no guarantee.

Kiba, let me know when you're here--I brought a few of your things from home in case you didn't have the chance, and I've found something wonderful.
Hakuteiken...be careful.
Truth--exercise caution while moving the cocoons down. I hear they have a tendency to hatch on top of people in the elevator.

Just a note to anyone injured or not feeling well--if you really need help, don't hesitate to come to Medical, but if it can wait, I suggest you hold off for a little longer. Things are still being sorted out here regarding the recent deaths.
...
Kiba. You're staying with Memory and me for a while. No arguments.

In case anyone's keeping a running tally of who's who now, I'm still myself. Though I may be coming down with something; I've felt a little feverish since yesterday, so I won't be coming to Medical today. Let me know if that's a problem, Justice.
Is my hair longer...?
[OOC: Kazahana has become Hisana, who looks pretty much exactly the same but was rather sickly.]

Does anyone know where I can get some shampoo that works really well? I fell in that stupid chocolate river and my hair's been greasy ever since.
[OOC: It hasn't happened yet in the log, but yeah, Kazahana's taking a bath.]

Looks like everyone's closets have gotten back to normal. I'll miss my dresses a little; they were so pretty. But at least I won't have to get up as early in the morning to make it to work on time.
By the way, I'd like to remind everyone that while we're always ready to help on Medical Island, we don't have any magical cures for hangovers. You've really only got yourselves to blame. Perhaps try practicing some moderation next time?
Apparently that wretched game has disappeared from the Wilderness, so I'm going to explore the new terrain tonight. If anyone else goes, maybe we can explore together?
