I wanted to let all of you know that Kiba, Blood, Range and I made it back safely. The spider that killed Bastet and Snap is dead, along with its mate—it might have been part of the attack, too—and their babies. There was a whole nest there, but it's gone now. We came away with a few injuries, but everyone will be fine.
This doesn't bring Bastet and Snap back. I wish it did. But at least what killed them can't hurt anyone else now.

Since Stoneface, Justice and Raise seem to have things well in hand after yesterday's tragedy, I'm going to go take care of the less-immedate danger.
