Sorry if anyone's been looking for me and I haven't been around; I've been doing double shifts at Medical. Just trying to keep myself busy even though I'm not really sure why I feel the need. Just a few quick notes-

Kiba-you wanted to talk about something, right? And I haven't seen you in a while. You should stop by my place and meet KC.

Rain-I finally found that hoodie you wanted. One of the patients at Medical was tired of his. Don't worry-he wasn't sick, so you don't need to worry about it carrying any germs.

Hakuteiken-I've got free time for the next few days.

[KC's been sitting on Kazahana's lap as she reads through the pages of her journal, seeing what people have to say, so a few minutes later when there's a knock at the door, she just picks him up and brings him with her as she goes to answer, opening the door with one hand.]

Rain, come on in. This is KC.

[Nothing strikes Kazahana as being especially familiar when she sees him, although the mask is certainly unusual; but she's heard of it already and knows not to be rude.

She sets KC down and misses any sign of shock that might appear on Rain's face.]

If you ever want to try socializing your cat, feel free to bring it over for a visit. I'm no pet expert myself, but I think being exposed to other people and animals is probably a good thing.

[Her words managed to make Rain's pocket mewl, and he snapped out of his daze to pull the tiny kitten out.]

It's... in here. Didn't want to be left alone.

[She blinks in surprise as she turns around with the hoodie to see the tiniest kitten in Rain's hand. Carefully, not wanting to scare it, she reaches out to scratch its chin.]

It's so small! But not scrawny, so you must be doing something right with it so far, especially if it wants to be near you.
